Valve makes it official, removes the beta tag from Steam for Android

It has been many days since the Stem application for Android was in beta. Many people including me got the invite to join in and test it out, the application was quite stable though there were a few bugs while chatting and sometimes lagging on my Galaxy Nexus but now Valve has announced that Steam app for Android is available for everyone to use.

Yahoo has announced that they would no longer support some of their mobile apps for iPad, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, citing pace of change in the mobile space. They said that they have to keep moving, to keep innovating, and to continuously measure and scrutinize what’s working and what isn’t.
