Twitter is showing tweets to users from accounts their friends follow in a latest testing. The feature was first spotted by a Twitter users @aleefbaypay as he saw tweets from someone he does not follow but from some one his friends follow.

Flappy Bird is back as Flappy Birds Family for Amazon Fire TV

Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen said in an interview back in May that he would bring back the game in August with multiplayer capability. He also said that the game would be less addictive than the original. Now the creator has released a new game, Flappy Birds Family for Amazon Fire TV, an Android box that was unveiled recently. Google Now Launcher now available for all devices running Android 4.1 or higher

Google Now Launcher arrived along with the Google Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 (KitKat) so that you can directly access Google Now from the home screen. Back in February Google released the Google Now Launcher on Google Play for its Nexus and Google Play Edition devices running Android 4.4 (KitKat). BBM Beta now available for all Windows Phone 8 users

BlackBerry has released BBM Beta for Windows Phone for the the public on the Windows Phone Store, as it promised last week. BBM app for the beta testers went live in the Windows Phone Store last week.  Last week the company said Windows Phone platform got 10,000 signups within 24 hours after the registrations began earlier this month. Facebook’s Internet.org app brings free limited internet in Zambia

Facebook had announced its ambitious Internet.org project last year with an aim to bring affordable internet access to emerging markets like India and Africa. Today, the social network has launched the Internet.org mobile app that gives users in Zambia, Africa free access to a handful of online services on their mobile phones.

Amazon Appstore’s $100 worth free apps offer is back, ends August 2nd

Amazon Appstore is back with its new offer. Today the company has announced that it would offer 29 paid Android apps worth over $100 for free on the Amazon AppStore starting Thursday, 31st July  (from 1 PM IST) to Saturday, 2nd August (up to 12 PM IST). Last month the company offered 31 apps for free for two days. This time the list is new, that includes Bills Reminder, Sonic and SEGA All-Star Racing, Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary 8th edition,  Instapaper and more.
