Amazon updates Kindle app for Android and iOS with new look, easy search and more

Amazon today updated its Kindle app that brings All-New Design and several new features. Amazon says that the new look is built around the books you love. You can between the new light theme or existing dark theme. You can quickly navigate with one-tap access to the things you use most, including your most recent book. U.S. users also get new community tab featuring Goodreads discovery and discussion features on Kindle for iOS.

Snapchat for iOS updated with link sharing, Ghost Mode and more

Snapchat after introducing Contextual Cards in the last update has rolled out yet another update for iOS today which brings features like link sharing and Ghost Mode in Snap Map. The link sharing feature will allow other apps to share links to Snapchat via the iOS share sheet. And, now you can hide in “Ghost Mode” for 3 or 24 hours instead of turning live location sharing on or off.

Snapchat introduces Contextual Cards to add more information and functionality to Snaps

Snapchat has introduced new Contextual cards feature which will add contextual information to the geotagged images and photos in Snapchat public stories. Cards with the contextual information will be automatically included to the Snaps added to the Snapchat regional story feature, or venue specific geofilter or those sent with white text. Users can just swipe up of any photo or image that shows the word ‘more’ below it and then, you’ll be able to see an interactive cards popup with more information about the particular place. Google Duo gets deeper integration with Pixel’s dialer, contacts and message apps

Google’s Duo and Allo apps have received several updates this year with new features and improvement. In June, the video calling app was integrated to Allo allowing users to make a Duo call right inside from Allo chat app. Now, Google is looking forward to integrate Duo into the dialer, SMS, and contacts applications.
