Facebook has released a new Creator app for video creators to take on YouTube. It is the same Mentions app that was introduced for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles back in 2014. This has been rebranded to Creator and can be used by all individuals on pages or profiles. Facebook has killed off Messenger day feature and replaced it with Face Stories feature that will be synced. Meaning, Any photos or videos you add to your Stories will appear on both Facebook and Messenger and will be shared with common users on both the platforms.

Facebook has rolled out gif-supported polls feature that now lets you add gifs and photos as poll answers instead of old-school text options. Facebook has added stickers as polling options to Stories feature on Instagram just last month. Facebook seems to have borrowed the feature from Twitter which lets you add four gifs, unlike just two on Facebook.

After rolling out Halloween inspired stickers and live filters to Instagram, Facebook and Messenger apps are now updated and themed to fit the Halloween theme best. The new update brings dozens of Halloween-themed masks, frames and stickers.
One year after the launch, Facebook’s Workplace for Desktop, Android, and iOS gets updated with new design, look and feel of the platform, easy navigation and better conversations that will make the Workplace much easier to use.
Facebook and Paypal last year had introduced the Paypal as payment support within the messenger app and today, both the company has rolled out the ability to use Paypal account to send or receive money within the messenger app. Paypal is also launching company’s first customer service bot which will be at users service handling questions and requests for help.
