Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out

Asus has announced the rollout of Oreo update to the Zenfone 3 Zoom bringing the version to V80.20.179.40. Since it is a server side roll out, the update might take few days and will be available in batches. Samsung suspends Galaxy S7 Android Oreo update over random reboots [ Update: Roll out resumes]

Update: Samsung has resumed the roll out of Oreo update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with firmware version G930FXXU2ERE8 and G935FXXU2ERE8, respectively in Portual.  Other countries should get the update soon.

Android P beta available for OnePlus 6 on launch day [ Update: Now available for Download]

Update: As promised OnePlus has released Android P Beta for the OnePlus 6, soon after the announcement, and before it goes on sale next week. It also warns that some functions like VoLTE and Face Unlock doesn’t work. You can download Android P ROM from here and flash manually at your own risk. You can also easily roll back to Android Oreo by flashing the ROM here.  Check out the source link below for flashing instructions. The company said that it will release device trees and kernel sources for the phone soon.
