Amkette has launched Evo Gamepad Pro, its first Bluetooth game controller for Android smartphones and tablets. The Xbox-like controller has ergonomically designed body with a comfortable rubber grip and sturdy clamp to play for longer hours without discomfort, said the company. Obi Mobiles, backed by John Scully is now Obi Worldphone. It has introduced Obi Worldphone SF1 and SJ1.5, two new smartphones that are designed by San Francisco-based product studio Ammunition. The Obi Worldphone SF1 has a 5-inch 1080p display from JDI, which is slightly raised giving a floating feel, comes with a 4G LTE connectivity (FDD B3 1800 MHz and TDD B40 2300 MHz) and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Obi’s own UI on top. Yu launched the YUREKA Plus, an upgraded version of the YUREKA smartphone last month, which got a permanent price cut to Rs. 8,999 earlier this month. One of the major improvements in the YUREKA Plus is the smartphone’s 13-megapixel camera, which uses Sony IMX214 sensor, compared to Sony IMX135 sensor in the YUREKA. It has the same 5-megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision 5648 sensor, 4P lenses and 71-degree wide viewing angle as seen in the YUREKA.
Koushik Dutta (Koush), the popular developer has developed a new tool for Android users allowing them to control their phone or tablet from their computer. Dubbed as Vysor, the Chrome app works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Chromebooks.

Motorola Droid Maxx 2 that is heading to Verizon has been leaked in live images. The phone is said to come to the US as Moto X Play as it has similar specifications.
Smartisan which is a Chinese startup that manufactures smartphones has just launched their second device called the U1 or JianGuo. The U1 will sell at a base price of 899 Yuan (US$140) which translates to around Rs 9,200.
