Nokia is reportedly working on a range of Bluetooth 4.0 low power accessories, ever since they revealed that their phones will support the technology starting with the Amber update. One of them has been detailed by The Verge, citing sources familiar with this device. This accessory, called the “Treasure Tag” apparently is a small box that connects to the phone with Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC, and once paired lets the phone track it using Bluetooth as well as GPS using a special app.
Creative Technology Ltd., the company best known for its audio devices and accessories, today announced their new range of speakers and headphones in India. The new Creative Airwave HD, Creative Airwave and the Creative Hitz series headsets have a fresh new design theme. Both the Airwave portable speakers have near-field communications (NFC) and Bluetooth support that would let you simply tap the NFC-enabled smart device on the speaker to connect instantly. Nokia has unveiled 3 new headsets Boom (WH-530), Knock (WH-520) and Pop (WH-510) in partnership with Zound Industries under Coloud brand. The Boom and the Knock are On-ear headsets, while the Pop is an In-ear headset. All these headsets come in Yellow, Red and Blue colors. These Stereo headsets have a microphone for calls and a multifunction key to attend or drop calls and control music . The Zound Lasso, together with the flat cable makes these headsets tangle-free. Tweets from the official Sony Xperia hints at the successor of the Sony SmartWatch that is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile Asia Expo 2013 in Shanghai next week. Sony unveiled the first SmartWatch back in January 2012 with a 1.3” (128×128 pixels) OLED touch display that can wirelessly and discreetly access calls, messages and applications. Along with the Asha 501, Nokia also introduced some new gear at the grand event that happened in New Delhi. Amongst the loads of accessories displayed at the event, we spotted some new ones, which includes the Nokia DC-18, a new portable battery pack launched along with the Asha. There was also the BH-118, a mono bluetooth headset with a dock, which looked weird yet useful. The above photo is of the DC-18, of which we have more photos below and the others too.
