OnePlus partnered with OtterBox to release a case for the OnePlus 2 smartphone last week. This dual-layer case offers protection against bumps, drops and shock. The hard outer layer protects against drops and scratches while the inner silicone layer absorbs shock. Inspired by qi, a traditional philosophy of balance and life force, the case features a spiral-patterned internal layer with multiple vents on the outer shell, integrating innovative technology with inspiring ancient principles, said OtterBox. YU launches YUPIX Compact Photo Printer with WiFi and NFC for Rs. 6999

YU YUPIX

YU has launched YUPIX, a mobile photo printer. The pocket photo printer offers high quality photo prints in just 60 seconds and provides NFC and WiFi connectivity. Since this uses WiFi, it will be faster than other printers that uses Bluetooth, says the company. It uses Dye Sublimation technology, offering a printing resolution of 291 dpi and can print 10 continuous copies. These offer dynamic comfort level, effectively isolates external noise, and are sweat and water resistant since these are developed specifically to suit the workout regime, said the company. These have inline controls for volume adjustment, come with braided cable and angled connector offering more durability.

Bose SoundLink around-ear wireless headphones II

Bose has launched its second-generation SoundLink around-ear wireless headphones in India. It has multi-point option for connecting two devices at a time and lets you switching between music and calls. It also has NFC on the right earcup for quick pairing. It has advanced microphone system for calls, HD voice and adaptive audio adjustment technology for wind or noise. Volume is changed automatically based on speech level and changing environments, says Bose.

Samsung has announced SleepSense, a tracker that lets you monitor and manage your sleep. It is a small sensor in the form of a flat disk that tracks your sleep by placing it under a bed’s mattress, providing contact-less monitoring of a person’s heart and respiratory rate including movements during sleep.
