While these rumors might be a hit or a miss, now comes another confirmation from none other than Evan Blass who said to have spotted Samsung employees wearing Gear watches running not Tizen, but Wear OS. Samsung has announced the Galaxy J4 (SM-J400) in the J-series. It comes with 5.5-inches AMOLED display with good old 16:9 aspect ratio. Samsung suspends Galaxy S7 Android Oreo update over random reboots [ Update: Roll out resumes]

Update: Samsung has resumed the roll out of Oreo update for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge with firmware version G930FXXU2ERE8 and G935FXXU2ERE8, respectively in Portual.  Other countries should get the update soon.

Samsung Galaxy S10 said to launch in January 2019, foldable phone in February at MWC

Samsung usually launches its S-series flagships at the MWC event in February or after that in a separate event in March. However, a new report from Korea suggests that the Galaxy S10 launch date will be set for January 2019. Apple iPhone X world’s best-selling smartphone with 16 million shipments in Q1 2018: Report

Earlier this week IDC reported  that  global smartphone shipments reached a total of 334.3 million units during the first quarter of 2018. Now Strategy Analytics has reported that global smartphone shipments reached 345 million units in Q1 2018. Despite the claims of being on the costlier side, the Apple’s iPhone X becomes the best selling model with shipping touching an impressive 16 million units during the quarter. Worldwide smartphone shipments have declined 2.9% YoY in Q1 2018. The smartphone vendors shipped a total of 334.3 million units during the first quarter of 2018. This is a sharp decline compared to the 344.4 million units shipped in the first quarter of 2017.
