HTC has launched Lock Screen Sense 6 app on the Google Play Store. With the new app, users can swipe right on the Lock Screen to jump straight into BlinkFeed, or swipe left to access the Widget Home or to the previous app. In addition, notifications, clock and weather are displayed on the lock screen.

Google and HTC are set to unveil an official keyboard case for an upcoming Nexus Tablet, as per a report from Android Police. HTC is rolling out Android 4.4.3 update to One M8 devices in India. The carrier update which is already live has improvements for the camera and the BoomSound speakers. In addition, the update is enabling 4G LTE support to the One M8 devices.

It looks like HTC is preparing a mid range smartphone as per series of tweets from popular leakster @upleaks. Dubbed as A11, for now the device will be from HTC’s Desire line and is running on a Snapdragon 410 processor. This is the first ever 64-bit SoC from Qualcomm that was unveiled in December of last year. It has a 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and an Adreno 306 GPU.

HTC seems to be back after several slumps in its revenues and profits, as the Taiwanese manufacturer has posted its unaudited results for the fiscal second quarter of 2014, on its investors website. The second quarter saw the release of its latest flagship device, the HTC One M8, which is possibly doing quite well for the company. The device, armed with the same popular design as its predecessor, added a second camera module on its back to tout interesting software based effects as one of its USPs. Couple that with top end specifications and a premium build, the company might have with them, a winner, at least financially.
