HMD Global, The Home of Nokia Phones has announced the appointment of Adam Ferguson, former Marketing Director at OnePlus Europe. He will be responsible for product marketing strategy and implementation for the complete portfolio of Nokia Phones. Before OnePlus, he had held marketing positions at EE, Nestlé and Unilever. Ferguson will report directly to Stephen Tayler, Chief Marketing Officer.
Ferguson will be responsible for leading HMD Global’s overall product marketing strategy for the entire portfolio of Nokia smartphones and feature phones. Adam’s appointment immediately follows the appointment of Stephen Taylor as the company’s chief marketing officer as HMD Global continues to strengthen its leadership team following a number of new product announcements.
This news comes after the company’s first 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3 5G. The company is said to be working on the Nokia 9.3 PureView, successor of the Nokia 9 PureView which was introduced at the MWC last year.
