Twitter has now confirmed that it is now pushing more ‘News links’ by your network on the timeline and is also and grouping the tweets mentioning the link underneath it. This is a much-needed move from Twitter in order to seize the identity in the news section it lacked for a long time.

Twitter bans automated bulk identical tweeting and duplicate accounts to fight spam

Twitter today announced that it is limiting how users and apps users and apps can automate tweets in order to disseminate spam, and any such behavior may result in enforcement action. Twitter will not allow posting identical or substantially similar content from multiple accounts.

Twitter is shutting down Twitter for Mac app, support ends in 30 days

Twitter today announced that it will be ending support for its Mac application in the next 30 days in favor of the web client. The app will no longer be available to download from today. The company suggests users use the web client to get the full experience.

Twitter Lite for Android expands to 24 more countries

Launched back in April, Twitter Lite brings features like new web experience, minimized data usage, faster loading speed on slower connections or unreliable mobile networks. The company back in September has made the app available on Google Play Store in the Philippines. Starting today, the app is now available on Google Play Store in 24 more countries.
