You can also share images and connect with twitter. Still there is no support for voice call and VOIP. Since this is the first version we can expect these features eventually. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100) that was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year is now on sale in India from Samsung eStore. The Galaxy Tab 2 310, 7-inch variant that we reviewed recently officially launched in India in May. It has 10.1-inch WXGA(1280×800) PLS TFT display, 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Touchwiz UI, 3MP rear-facing camera and VGA front facing camera. Mozilla has started rolling out nightly builds of its upcoming Firefox Mobile OS for users to download. The OS seems to take a lot of inspiration from iOS and Android in terms of UI. In addition, the icons seem to take some hint from Symbian.

Exclusive : LG Optimus Vu coming to India later this year
LG India today confirmed to FoneArena at the LG Bloggers Meet today that the Optimus Vu is indeed coming to India later this year. The Optimus Vu is a 5-inch phone from LG which puts it in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy Note. The screen is one of the main highlights of the device and it packs a 1024x768px resolution. The phone packs 32GB of inbuilt storage and utilizes a microSIM card slot. It also comes with a capacitive stylus.

LG Optimus 4X HD launched in India for Rs. 34990
LG has launched the Optimus 4X HD, their first quad-core Tegra 3 handset in India. It was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this February. It has 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display with 313 PPI and is powered by 1.5GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has an 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash support, 1.3MP secondary camera. It is just 8.9mm thick. LG has launched the Optimus L5 in India from the L-Style series of phones that was unveiled at MWC 2012 . Other L-Style series of phones, Optimus L3 went on sale in India in May and the Optimus L7 was officially launched in June. LG has officially launched the Optimus L3 in India today. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Beam, successor of their previous Beam, in India. It was announced at MWC earlier this year and went on pre-order last month and went on sale last week. It comes with 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It has 15 lumens pico projector that allows users to share photos, videos or other digital media instantly and in crisp clarity up to 50-inch wide, at a distance of 2 meters. It is 12.5mm thick. Qualcomm Q3 2012 results out
Qualcomm just reported its 3rd quarter fiscal 2012 results and profits have soared year on year owing to continued strong demand for 3G and 4G connected hardware. High sales and strong yearly growth have contributed to a bottom line of $4.63 billion in revenue.
Meanwhile net income is reported at $1.21 billion. MSM chipsets were the biggest contributors with 141 million units sold. Though sales were reported to be down 7% over the last quarter, the YoY growth is noted to be 18%. CEO Dr. Paul E. Jacob said that the sales drop was due to upcoming devices lined up for the holiday season.
