India Data Card market registered an annual shipment of 6.72 million units for the year ending June 2014, according to a report from 6Wresearch. The India Data Card market which was previously commanded by the CDMA segment is now witnessing a strong shift towards GSM based Data Cards as they registered 69% share of the market, said the report.

Sony’s mystery device that appeared earlier this week has gone official in China. It is called Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 and looks like a perfume bottle. It has a 19.2-megapixel swivel camera with f/2.0 wide-angle lens, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor and a focal length of 21mm and LED flash on the top. This can rotate 180-degrees. Today Lava has announced that it would launch a new smartphone with a wide-angle front camera with LED flash in the X series soon.
