Nokia has updated the Chat Beta for Lumia Windows Phone devices to version 1.1 that brings Tap+Send (NFC) sharing between Lumia phones to share details of anyone on your chat contact list. This update brings option to share a place in chat that offers touchable map preview with links to place details, directions, and reviews, powered by HERE Maps. It also has improvements and support for more countries. The app lets you chat with Nokia Chat and Yahoo! Messenger users. Windows Phone 8.1 update with notification center, additional features spotted

Jeremiah Wong, a Reddit user, has posted a series of screenshots that are said to be from a Lumia 920 running on pre release software. The handset that was purchased via eBay is running on a software version that identifies itself as 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407. This particular build was compiled on 5th May and has a number of additions that Windows Phone users have been clamoring for.

Nokia 41MP EOS video demo reveals mechanical shutter

Few images of the alleged Nokia Lumia EOS, the company’s upcoming 41-megapixel flagship phone appeared earlier this week. More images emerged online from a twitter user called Vizileaks that revealed the prototype. Now the user has posted a who preview of the device along with a new video that reveals that the phone would have a mechanical shutter that looks similar to the Nokia 808 PureView. Apple has put up their banners for the WWDC, scheduled for next week that reveals the iOS 7, the next iteration of the iOS software. The X symbol far away in the image also confirms the new OS X version. We still don’t know how the iOS 7 would look like as Apple keeps it a secret as usual. Lava to launch a new Iris smartphone with gesture user interaction in June

Lava has announced that the company plans to launch a new smartphone under the Iris brand that that can communicate with the user even in signs. Lava says, “This cool feature will allow a user to interact with the phone and use the camera with just a swipe of his hand in the air.” The company says that this would be slimmest in its category and run on the latest version of the Android OS, 4.2 obviously. Karbonn TA-FONE A34 HD, successor of the TA-FONE A34 is on sale from online retailer Saholic. This has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. Other features remain the same including a 1GHz single-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 2G support, voice calling and SMS through dual SIM card slots. It has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Karbonn TA-FONE A37 HD is also listed on the official website, which is expected soon. Now the Wireless Charging Cover and Wireless Charging Pad have been priced on the official Samsung eStore.These accessories have also been unveiled yesterday in the U.S. If you already have a Wireless Charging pad, you can get the Charging Cover separately and replace it with the original back cover. It charges wirelessly via electromagnetic field that follow the Qi standard, the global standard for wireless power. The Wireless Charging Kit (Pad + Cover) also comes as a bundle. The reminders feature brings 3 features in 1 such as reminder alarms, set Note based to-dos to Mark notes as done, pin a note to order reminder manually or by date. You can tap the alarm clock inside a note, optionally, choose a due date and time to set reminders. You can also view reminders by notebook and subscribe to reminders in shared and business notebooks. Evernote for iPhone and iPad got reminders in the version 5.3 update last month. Facebook Home gets Favorites tray to pin frequently used apps

Facebook has updated the Facebook Home app for Android that brings a favorites tray that shows a row of apps at the bottom of every screen in the app launcher. You press and hold the app icon you want to move and drag it in or out of the favorites tray. You can also rearrange the placement of the apps within the favorites tray. Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S4 starting from Germany that brings lots of new features such as option to move apps to the SD card, HDR video recording, Semi-transparent status bar, new Smart Pause toggle in the notification, New camera firmware and lots more. Samsung released the first update for the Exynos version of the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) last month that brought stability improvements. The new update is rolling out for the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) in Germany, but Sammobile says the update would also be available for the Exynos-powered Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500). Twitter for Windows Phone 8 updated with filters, Lens app integration and more

Twitter for Windows Phone has been updated to version 3.1 that brings filter for photos finally that lets you apply different filter when you upload a photo. It also brings Lens app integration that lets you launch the capture and upload photo on Twitter directly, option to play embedded Vine videos directly from within tweets and lots more. The official Twitter app for Android and iPhone got the filters back in December last year. Twitter for Windows Phone got a new design earlier this year. Sony Mobile has started sending invites for a press event in Germany on 25th. The German translation says “Looking for More?” “It is time for the next step. On Tuesday, the 25th June 2013 15:00 we take a first look at the future together.” “More details will follow soon.” We don’t anything more than that, so we can only speculate on what the company will unveil at the event. It might be the Togari with a 6.4-inch 1080p display, or the Honami the rumored Cyber-shot camera phone or a completely new device.
