Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto Z Play smartphone in India finally. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor. To access this setting, you need to go to Security, then tap on the screen lock gear icon. Other features include, Moto Display landscape mode, new Hasselblad TrueZoom mode settings and improvements. Xiaomi today announced Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition in China. It has the same specifications as the Redmi Note 4 smartphone that was launched in India recently, but comes in two new colors and comes in a unique package that has a Limited edition Mi Power bank and soft protective case printed with Hatsune Miku and the the phone has an unique code along with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back.

Meizu today sent out invites for a new smartphone launch event in China on February 15th, a day after Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4X event. Meizu is expected to introduce m5s, successor to last year’s m3s that got certified by TENAA back in December. According to the teaser the smartphone will come with improved fast charging, however the design is expected to be same as m3s.
