Xiaomi last week announced that the Mi MIX 2 smartphone with bezel-less screen will launch in India on October 10th at an event in Delhi. Today Flipkart has confirmed that it will be exclusively available with them. The Mi A1 that was launched last month is also exclusively available on Flipkart online, apart from the mi.com as well as Mi Home stores and other offline retailers. Acer has launched Nitro 5 Spin, a 2-in-1 convertible notebook that serves the purpose for casual gamers. It was announced back in August and sports a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen IPS display, is equipped with 8th Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB HDD . With its 2-in-1 feature, you can switch its form factor between four modes: Laptop, Tent, Display (Theater), and Tablet. It also has a fingerprint scanner built into the trackpad.

Project Loon to deploy balloons to Puerto Rico to restore cell service

Alphabet, Google’s parent company has received permission from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to deploy Project Loon balloons over Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands for up to six months. Project Loon is Alphabet X innovation lab’s initiative where it beams high-speed WiFi internet via balloons down.

After leak, BlackBerry Mobile has officially announced the TCL-made BlackBerry Motion, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at the GITEX Technology Week in Dubai. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile platform, runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and has a water-resistant body with IP67 ratings. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the KEYone.
