Google rolls out unified Gmail interface widely

Google has announced that a fresh new appearance based on Google’s Material Design 3 is blended with beneficial enhancements for every Gmail user, including all the benefits of Google Workspace, is now rolling out. China smartphone sales hit a new low in Q2 2022: Report

According to Counterpoint’s Market Pulse research, sales of smartphones in China fell 14.2% YoY in Q2 2022. Volumes for the quarter were less than half of the historical peak of Q4 2016 and were down 12.6% from the level seen during the severely pandemic-hit Q1 2020. The report claims that not nearly ten years ago, in Q4 2012, sales were lower than they are now. Earlier this year, global smartphone chipset shipments declined 5% YoY in Q1, 2022. Google Maps Street View launched in India

Using data from local collaborators Tech Mahindra and Mumbai-based Genesis International, Google has unveiled its interactive 360-degree panorama feature for 10 Indian cities. The firm claims that it will enable a more reliable, accurate, and visual mapping experience for its users, solving local challenges for communities at scale and also facilitating a more sustainable environment for future generations. Dell Mobile Connect app to be discontinued on July 31

Dell Technologies has announced the discontinuation of its Mobile Connect platform, as well as Alienware Mobile Connect, and that it will no longer be downloadable. The applications, which allow users to send texts and make phone calls through their laptops, are being phased out. Neumann.Berlin launches Open-Back NDH 30 headphones in India

Today, the German company Neumann.Berlin announced the NDH 30 open-back headphones‘ introduction in India, following the success of the NDH 20, which won an award and was introduced in 2019. The MA-1 Automatic Monitor Alignment allows the NDH 30 to fully replicate the linear sound picture of a Neumann loudspeaker configuration in a compact format.
