Apple releases iOS 11.1.1 for iPhone and iPad with fix for auto correct bug
Apple released iOS 11.1 update for iPhone and iPad last month that brought over 70 new emojis and several fixes. Now it has released iOS 11.1.1 update that fixes an autocorrect bug that has been plaguing a lot users since the iOS 11.1 update. The bug causes “i” to autocorrect to A[?] in the keyboard. Apple fixed it in iOS 11.2 beta, but Apple could not wait till iOS 11.2 release since it was affecting a lot of users. Alcatel A5 LED and A7 launched in India starting at Rs. 12999
Alcatel has launched A5 LED and A7 smartphones in India. The A5 LED was introduced at the MWC earlier this and comes with LIGHTUP+ MOD that lights up with colors in different patterns. You can assign different LED cover patterns for incoming calls, messages, alarms, and social media alerts. The LED back cover is removable. The A7 that was introduced at the IFA in September comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, has a 16-megapixel rear camera and packs a 4000mAh battery. Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 10nm SoC with 3rd gen custom CPU cores official, could power Galaxy S9
Samsung has silently made the Exynos 9 Series 9810 SoC official that is revealed in CES 2018 Innovation Awards announcement. It is the successor of Exynos 9 Series 8895 SoC that powers the Galaxy S8 series and the Galaxy Note8. It is based on the 2nd generation 10-nanometer (nm) FinFET process technology, uses company’s 3rd generation custom designed CPU cores and has LTE Cat.18 6CA-supported modem that offers maximum download speed of up to 1.2Gbp (Cat.18). Gionee M7 Power with 6-inch FullView display, 5000mAh battery launching in India on November 15
After teasing the launch of M7 Power smartphone in India earlier this week, Gionee has sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone in the country on November 15th. It was introduced in China at the end of September, later it was introduced for global markets. It packs a 6-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 FullView display with 85% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 435 and packs a 5000mAh battery with intelligent power management that promises up to 2 days of battery life. Flipkart has launched its own Billion Capture+ smartphone as a part of its Billion brand. It says that the ‘Made For India’ smartphone is designed, engineered, manufactured and tested in India. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass screen with Dragontrail glass protection, is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform, runs Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) that will be upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo), Dual 13-megapixel rear (RGB + Monochrome) camera, dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite smartphones in India last week. The phones went on sale in the country today exclusively on Amazon.in as well as Mi.com today. After the sale Manu Jain, Group Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India said that the company sold over 1,50,000 units of both the phones across the platforms in the sale in just 3 minutes.
