MediaTek Helio G100 Octa-Core 6nm SoC announced

MediaTek has officially announced the Helio G100, the company’s latest 4G SoC, as the successor of Helio G99 which was introduced back in 2022. This uses the same TSMC’s advanced 6nm (N6) chip production process, has ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked up to 2.2GHz and six power efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz along with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Xiaomi said to be testing batteries up to 7500mAh with 100W fast charging

Xiaomi uses 5000mAh battery in most phones, and it has used up to 120W fast charging in its latest phones like the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ for the Indian market, and the Redmi K70 Ultra which was introduced in China recently uses a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast charging that can be charged up to 100% in 24 minutes.
