OnePlus has announced that all service related issues on smartphones till date and henceforth pending for more than 15 working days at service centres will automatically get a 3 months extended warranty in India. This will be applicable on the OnePlus One and all future smartphones and is also applicable for all Indian users who had purchased the One from oneplus.net prior to the India launch. The tweaks in the algorithm will show content based on time you spend to view a post, instead of showing stories based on what you like, comment and share. Facebook says that generally, people spend more time on stories, photos, and accounts that are relevant to them. Google announces YouTube Gaming, a Twitch rival

Google has announced YouTube Gaming, a new app and a website that would compete with Twitch that was acquired by Amazon last year, after several rumors that the streaming service was being acquired by Google. YouTube Gaming will let you watch gaming videos and live streams, similar to Twitch. You can add a game to your collection to watch videos about it. You will also get a notification when there is a live stream. It also offers recommendations based on the games and channels you love. Reliance Jio to launch 4G services by December 2015, 4G smartphones below Rs. 4000

Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) would begin commercial operations around December. This was announced by Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at its 41st Annual General Meeting today. At the last AGM last June, the company announced that it will start expanded trials in August 2014 across multiple cities, which would continue through the end of 2014 and early 2015. Some of these include Where’s My Perry?, Where’s My Water?, Lost Light and more. These games usually cost between $0.99 and $2.99 and the total worth is more than $17.  Microsoft offered 7 Disney games for free last year.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H) in India last year. It even introduced a 4G version of the smartphone, which is yet to launch in India. Now a new version of the smartphone called Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition (VE) (SM-G531F) has surfaced (via). According to the leak, the smartphone will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1908 64-bit processor, instead of Snapdragon 410 in the Grand Prime.
