Motorola just launched the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India. Both the phones have a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, are powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 SoC, run Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto G4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Laser auto-focus and software features such as professional mode. Hugo Barra, Vice President of Xiaomi Global just tweeted that Xiaomi will be part of Google I/O this year that starts tomorrow. Xiaomi will unveil a new product in a couple of days. According to the teaser image that he has shared, it looks something like aa remote next to a circular device. This could be the company’s first Android TV box along with a remote with built-in microphone for voice commands. OnePlus 3 has surfaced in the first press image, thanks to @evleaks. The image conicides with earlier leak and also shows unibody metal design. According to the latest leak it will come with a AMOLED display and pack a 3000mAh battery, compared to 3300mAh battery on the OnePlus 2, the company’s current flagship. It was announced last year, has a standard USB Type-A ( USB 3.1, 3.0, 2.0) connector on the other end that lets you connect it to a PC, laptop or a Mac to transfer files easily. The USB Type-C enables a single port to function as a point for data transfer, video output, charging and even power external devices. Sony Mobile has announced Xperia XA Ultra, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the new X series. It has a 6-inch 1080p, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for capturing shake-free selfies. Windows 10 operating system supports fingerprint unlock feature using Windows Hello in addition to face and iris unlock. Microsoft has confirmed at the WinHEC conference earlier this week that it plans to support fingerprint scanners for Windows 10 Mobile as well later this year. Sony already confirmed that it is retiring its Z series of smartphones for its new X series. Now reports from Asian tech media confirms that Sony will also end the Xperia C and Xperia M series as well and will concentrate on the Xperia X series, which will be a single brand till 2018.
