Google Play’s new Delta algorithm will reduce Android app update size

Google has announced that it has rolled a new delta algorithm, bsdiff, to reduce Android app update size up to 50% or more compared to the previous algorithm. “Bsdiff is specifically targeted to produce more efficient deltas of native libraries by taking advantage of the specific ways in which compiled native code changes between versions,” said Google in their developers blog. Apple iPhone 7 could release in the week of September 12

Apple is all set to unveil its next iPhone in September. It will release in the week September 12th, according to @evleaks. The iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus were introduced on September 9th last year and went on sale on September 25th, after the pre-orders began on September 12th. It is not clear if the release mentioned in the tweet is the date of the event or the availability of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 rumors continue to flow ahead of official unveiling on August 2nd. Press shots of the phone Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral colors surfaced earlier this month, now new Gold colored variant of the phone has surfaced on a Korean site. The smartphone is also available for pre-order in Dubai for AED 500 and also offers a 128GB microSD for free.

The teaser just says “Your perfect Selfie companion, with OIS” along with the image of the smartphone with large front camera with LED flash. It was announced in May, has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for capturing shake-free selfies.
