Twitter buys mobile ad-tech startup TapCommerce

Twitter is continuing its shopping spree with another acquisition. The micro blogging firm has acquired ad tech firm TapCommerce to expand its mobile marketing platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by either of the company, however Re/code reports that the deal is worth $100 million.

Google bids adieu to Orkut, will shut it down on Sept 30

The ten year old social network will shut down its operations on September 30 and existing users will be able to export their information using Google Takeout until September 2016. Google not axing Nexus lineup: Google Exec
