US regulators said to impose a record-setting fine against Facebook for privacy violations

S regulators have met to discuss imposing a record-setting fine against Facebook for violating a legally binding agreement with the government to protect the privacy of its users’ personal data. The fine under consideration at the Federal Trade Commission would mark the first action levied against Facebook in the United States since reports emerged in March about the Cambridge Analytica. Cortana won’t challenge Alexa and Google Assistant, says Microsoft CEO

Netflix reports 35% growth YoY, adds 8.8 million new users in Q4 2018

Netflix has announced that it has seen an annual revenue of $16 billion in 2018 which is a 35% growth. The company has doubled the operating profits of $1.6 billion. Twitter acknowledges bug that exposed protected Tweets of some Android users for years

Twitter for Android has been effected with an issue where ‘Protect Your Tweets’setting has been disabled if a certain amount of changes were made. The company says that it is aware of the issue and users may have been impacted by this issue if they had protected Tweets turned on in the settings, and made certain changes to account settings such as changing the email address associated with your account between November 3, 2014, and January 14, 2019.
