Telegram has reached 700 million users active user worldwide, and the company has introduced ‘Telegram Premium’, as promised. The subscription service will offer exclusive additional features to users such as doubled limits, improved chat management, faster downloads and more.
WhatsApp has introduced a new update for their iOS and Android app that adds the ability to mute participants and message specific people in a voice call. Along with this, the update also adds an indicator when a person joins a call.

Microsoft has announced the general availability of their new security app called Microsoft Defender for individuals. It is the newest offering in their family of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 solutions, and it extends upon the protections built into Windows Security. It is also now available for Android and iOS after over 2 years of the announcement.

Just as Apple and Google have their versions of digital wallets, Samsung has announced their own Samsung Wallet platform. It is built on Samsung’s Knox security platform and allows users to organize digital keys, boarding passes, identification cards and more. Samsung had a wallet long back to store coupons, gift cards, loyalty cards, boarding passes and membership numbers, but it was shut down in 2015.

Microsoft held their Xbox & Bethesda Games showcase event yesterday. During the event, the two companies unveiled more than 30 titles that will be arriving to Game Pass over the next 12 months.
