Facebook Live Audio Rooms and Podcasts begin rolling out starting from the US

After months of development and testing, Facebook has begun rolling out two social audio-focused features in their platform, namely Live Audio Rooms and Podcast. Live Audio Rooms will be available to select public figures and Facebook Groups in the U.S., starting with iOS users, and select Podcasts are also available in the US now.

Clubhouse update hints at possible private messaging feature called Backchannel

Clubhouse, the popular audio chat-room app, has unintentionally leaked an upcoming feature in their app called Backchannel, which appears to be for private messaging. The feature was quickly removed from the app, however some users were able to capture it and see how it works.

Battlegrounds Mobile India update removes data sharing with China server

Last week, Battlegrounds Mobile India rolled out in open beta to mobile gamers in India, however, the app was discovered to be sharing data with a servers in China, even though it claimed otherwise. The developers acknowledged this issue and rollout out a new update to the app today  that has stopped this behaviour.

Apple iPhone production predicted to touch 223 million in 2021

Last year, Apple had to reduce the production numbers of the iPhone 12 as many countries around the world were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
