NVIDIA already announced that the Shield Tablet would be updated to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) soon. Now it has announced that the update would be available as early as this November, so we can expect the roll out to begin in the next few weeks. It has also released a video that shows the new Android 5.0’s Material UI along with Material redesign for NVIDIA’s Shield Hub and Dabbler apps. iBall has launched the Slide WQ149, the company’s latest Windows 8 tablet. It has a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS screen and is powered by an quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a magnetic pogo pin keyboard that has a touchpad so that it can double up as a laptop. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Broadband LTE-A in Korea. It the same 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display at WQXGA resolution, powered by a Octa-Core Exynos (A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz) processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), but this supports Category 6 LTE Advanced support that would offer download speed of up to 225 Mbps, faster than the Cat.4 LTE that supports download speed only up to 150Mbps. Lava has launched QPAD R704, the company’s latest tablet in the QPAD series. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, similar to the QPAD e704 tablet that was launched earlier this year, but this is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor instead of a Broadcom processor. It runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It is powered by Huawei’s own quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor based on ARM’s Cortex A9 clocked at 1.6 GHz per core. It has ARM Mali 450 GPU and 2GB RAM. Dell introduced new Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets running Android 4.4 (KitKat) back in June. Now these tablets are available in India from official Dell website. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch HD (1280×800) display, powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3460) processor, while the Venue 8 comes with a 8 inch full-HD (1920×1200) display and a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480). Both the tablets have 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot. Google Nexus 9 India Prices Revealed on Play Store, coming soon

In case you are looking forward to buying the latest Nexus tablet from Google in India, we have some good news to share. We just spotted the Google Nexus 9 as coming soon on the India Play Store and the price for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is listed as Rs.28900 which is a good deal considering the US pricing is $399 but taxes and shipping will bring the price to roughly about Rs.27000 and duties could end up making it even costlier.  It seems like the 32GB Wi-Fi only version will not be coming to India. The Google Nexus 9 is made my HTC and packs a 8.9 inch display and is powered by a Nvidia Tegra K1 chip and runs on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
