Dell has officially launched the new Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 (3000 series) tablets running Android 4.4 (KitKat) with voice calling capabilities in India. These were announced back in June and went on sale through official Dell website in India last month. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch HD (1280×800) display, powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3460) processor, while the Venue 8 comes with a 8 inch full-HD (1920×1200) display and a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480). Both the tablets have 1 GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via microSD slot, Waves MAXXAudio Pro audio technology for a premium audio experience and a 4550 mAh battery

Commenting on the launch, P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director & General Manager, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India, said,

The New Dell Venue 7 with voice calling costs Rs.14,999 and the new Dell Venue 8 costs Rs. 18,999. Dell also sells protective cases for these tablets and also Cradle or a Dell Venue Rotating Folio for the Venue 8 tablet.
