Celkon launched CT722, the company’s latest tablet powered by Intel Atom SoC earlier this week. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, is powered by a Quad Core Intel Atom X3 C3230RK processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It comes with a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has single SIM support, 3G connectivity and has voice calling capabilities. NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet X1 with Tegra X1 SoC, 3GB RAM surfaces in benchmarks

NVIDIA introduced the SHIELD tablet K1 last week at a cheaper price of $199. Now the SHIELD tablet X1 has surfaced in GFXBench benchmarks revealing a similar 8-inch Full HD display, but this will be powered by the latest NVIDIA Tegra X1 Octa-Core (4x ARM Cortex A57 + 4x ARM Cortex A53) 20nm processor with 256-core Maxwell GPU. Xiaomi today announced Mi Pad 2, successor of last year’s Mi Pad at an event in China, as it promised, along with the Redmi Note 3. It has the same 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi as the first Mi Pad, but the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor has been replaced by a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500. Xiaomi recently scheduled an event on November 24th, to introduce a new product. Lin Bin, co-founder and President of Xiaomi already said that more than one product will launch at the event. He posted a teaser image of the Redmi Note 2 Pro smartphone in Golden color recently, few hours back he posted an image of a tablet on weibo, which is likely to be the upcoming MiPad 2. NVIDIA introduced SHIELD tablet last year starting at $299, but it went out of stock on NVIDIA ‘s website shortly after the company recalled some units in late July this year for posing a fire hazard due to overheating batteries. Today it has released an updated version of the tablet as SHIELD tablet K1 with minor changes that includes, silicon grips that will make it easier to hold and of course a new battery, just in time for the holidays. Global tablet shipments decline 12.6% in Q3 2015: Report

Just yesterday, IDC revealed its numbers for the worldwide smartphone shipment and today, the research firm is out with report for the global tablet shipments.  A total of 48.7 million units were shipped in the Q3 2015, reporting a 12.6% decline owing to the challenges faced by the tablet market.

Samsung Galaxy View 18.4-inch tablet listing reveals detailed specs, more images

Samsung teased the Galaxy View (SM-T670), a large-screen tablet at the IFA last month. It also appeared on GFXBench confirming the leaked specifications and the images of the tablet surfaced in a leak last week. Now the tablet has been listed on US online retailer Adorama (Via) revealing all the specifications and several images of the tablet. The description says that the Galaxy View will offer portable, touchable TV experience.
