ZengaTV has updated the ZengaTV app for Android that brings new user interface (UI) with Social media integration and HD Live TV Streaming for select channels, which you can enable from settings. It also has Dynamic categories with search optimized directory listings, Personalized Playists to add lists of favorite channels. AnTuTu Benchmark 3.0 for Android released, brings new UI, better performance and more

AnTuTu Benchmark app has been updated to version 3.0.1. AnTuTu Labs previewed the features of the latest app last week, now it is available for download from the Google Play. This brings new features including enhanced memory direct read and write tests, new 2D test with better 2D rendering, OpenGL ES 2.0 for 3D Test, Redesigned and adjustment app UI and more. Most of the Benchmarking apps have been updated recently. Rightware launched Browsermark 2.0 few weeks back, and Vellamo 2.0 was launched few months back. 3D Mark is expected next month. GTA: Vice City coming to select Android and iOS devices on December 6th for $4.99


Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City would be available for select new generation iOS and Android devices on December 6th for $4.99. They are celebrating 10th anniversary of their popular game by launching it on iOS and Android. The game would include several enhancements unique to Android and iOS devices similar to the GTA III including native high-resolution graphics, custom controls and more. They have also announced the list of devices that would support the game. Skype for Android v3.0 update brings new Tablet UI, Improved audio

Microsoft launched the Preview version of the Skype for Windows Phone 8 was launched last week, now the Skype for Android app has been updated to version 3.0. Nokia HERE Maps for iPhone and iPad now available for download

 

Nokia announced  last week that they would launch HTML5-based HERE Maps app for Android and iOS. Now the HERE Maps is available for iPhone and iPad users.  This uses NAVTEQ mapping data and lets you explore and search places easily. It also offers live traffic view, public transport line, driving directions, voice navigation, option to save maps data for offline use and more.

Firefox for Android v17.0 update brings support for devices with ARMv6 processors


Mozilla has updated their Firefox browser for Android to version 17.0 that brings support for ARMv6 phones with at least 800MHZ processor and minimum 512MB RAM. CatchPlus difference spotting puzzle game launched for Android

3DMark Cross-platform Benchmarking tool coming soon to Windows RT, Android, iPhone and iPad

Futuremark has announced that new 3DMark Cross-platform Benchmarking tool would be available for Windows RT, Android, iPhone and iPad other than Windows, later this year. The new 3DMark tool would also let you compare scores across all these platforms, since the test content, settings and rendering resolution are similar. 3DMark is popular benchmarking tool for PCs, 3DMark 11 is the latest version on Windows. This would compete with the GLBenchmark, popular benchmarking tool that is available on Android, iPhone and iPad.
