Last month, OnePlus launched their first ever smartwatch called the OnePlus Watch, which runs their proprietary OS based on RTOS. The company is now rolling out their first software update for the watch, known as version B.40, which brings a couples of improvements and optimizations to it.

Casio has announced G-SQUAD PRO (GSW-H1000), the company’s first Wear OS smartwatch. It has a 1.2-inch dual layer display Color TFT LCD and monochrome LCD Color display with three-tier display layout that enables customization, with hundreds of different data display possibilities and the option of analog display as well. OnePlus today launched the most expected OnePlus Watch, as it had promised. The round design emulates the look of a traditional watch, with a smooth arc on the side of the case that is hand-polished with more than 20 treatments for a refined finish, said the company. It has 46mm stainless steel case with 2.5D curved glass on the face and a subtle yet radiant glossy CD pattern on the display bezel for an added touch of class. OnePlus has been teasing its first OnePlus Watch on its social channels ahead of launch on March 23rd, which is tomorrow. Recently the company’s CEO Pete Lau posted an image of the watch on weibo that shows a circular dial, metal casing and a curved screen. Google introduced Tiles into their Wear OS software back in 2019, giving users access to quick functionalities and information such as Goals, Weather, Heart rate and more with just a swipe left. At the moment, developing Tiles is limited to only Google, however that is about to change in the next update as Google is opening up the feature to third-party developers.

Fossil has launched their newest Android Wear OS smartwatch in India called the Fossil Gen 5E. It features an 1.19 inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC, interchangeable watch bands, quick charging, various activity sensors and more.
Last year, Samsung introduced the ability to measure Blood pressure and track an Electrocardiogram (ECG) on the Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch 3 for their customers in South Korea. They have now received the required certification to expand the feature support to 31 more countries.
