Windows Phone 8.1 would be unveiled at the Build conference in San Francisco, California next week. We had already seen Cortana and Action Center in earlier leaks, today a video from Chinese website Coolxap.com has revealed new start screen backgrounds and parallax wallpaper effects in Windows Phone 8.1 when you scroll through the Start Screen. Apple reportedly launching iPhone 6 in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions in September

Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 6 in two variants, one with a 4.7-inch screen and other one with a 5.5-inch screen, according to a report from Japanese business newspaper Nikkei. These are expected to have high-resolution screens significantly higher than that of current models. Apple launched the iPhone 5s last September along with the iPhone 5c with a 4 inch retina display. Nokia Lumia 630 leaked again, finally some specs pop up

Nokia is holding an event on April 2nd which is less than a week from now and according to the rumor mill, Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 are the products that will be unveiled during the event. HTC Desire 616 with 5-inch HD display, octa-core processor surfaces

HTC unveiled the Desire 816 at the MWC last month. Earlier this month Desire 516 with 5-inch qHD display and a quad-core processor surfaced online. Today, HTC Desire 616 with octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor has surfaced online in live images posted by a weibo user. It has also been certified in Tenna in China that reveals the complete specifications of the device. It has a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5 on top. Apple rumored to be considering iTunes Store for Android

According to rumors, Apple is said to be considering launching its iTunes Store on the Android platform. This is not something that you would usually see from Apple, but according to Billboard, this move comes because they have no other choice. The sales of iTunes’ digital content is declining and Apple believes that if it releases an Android app, people will come and save its declining service.

Google rumored to be working on a 8.9inch Nexus tablet

Google has been targeting audience with great products at affordable products through their Nexus line up. The smartphones – Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 are an example of that. Each of the device offers the best in class performance for a considerably affordable price point. They did the similar thing with the tablets as well – Google Nexus 7 and Nexus 7 2013 – offering great features for an affordable price. It looks like things could change.

Samsung Gear 2 variant with SIM card slot for voice calls reportedly in the works

Samsung is planning to launch a variant of its Gear 2 smartwatch capable of making voice calls without connecting to a smartphone, according to a report from Korean Herald. Samsung plans to release the new version of the Gear 2 in Korea in partnership with the local operator SK Telecom. This would have a built-in SIM card or USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module) to use it as a standalone mobile device. HTC Desire 516 leaked online

HTC has not yet launched its flagship device of this year, but we know it is just a week away before it launches the all new HTC One. In the meantime, HTC is also preparing a midrange Desire series smartphone. HTC had introduced the Desire 816 at MWC 2014 earlier this year and now plans to unveil the Desire 516.

Amazon rumored to be shipping a video streaming device in April

Streaming devices are becoming a thing as Roku’s streaming stick and Google’s Chromecast have seen considerable success. It looks like Amazon could enter the streaming market with a dongle just like the aforementioned units. Amazon is rumored to be shipping this video streaming capable unit through its online stores as well as through retail outlets like BestBuy and Staples.

This is how Whatsapp Calls will supposedly look like

At the MWC 2014 earlier this year, Whatsapp were present and their CEO was just fresh from the 19 billion USD deal with Facebook. At the event, Whatsapp discussed their post Facebook acquisition plans and they also mentioned that they will be introducing VoIP calls in Q2 2014. According to an Italian blog, they were able to get their hands on the latest Whatsapp app with support for voice calls.

Samsung Galaxy Beam successor leaked with a metal build

More than two years ago Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Beam – an Android smartphone that came with a projector on its top. The Samsung Galaxy Beam featured mid-range specifications at that time and it was not about specs. As the name suggests, Galaxy Beam was about projection. Last year, we did not see a successor to it, but it seems like Samsung is not giving up so easily. The probably Galaxy Beam successor has been spotted in the wild, but with a metal build.
