The Elm which is a member of the Green heart range has been picked as the most eco-friendly phone according to a new Eco rating scheme from UK mobile operator O2 . The Elm emerged as a winner amongst 65 phones from 6 phone makers including Nokia, HTC, LG, Samsung and Palm.Surprisingly Apple refused to take part and so the iPhones were not part of the exercise

According to a tests performed by LaptopMag , The Motorola Droid X has the best battery life amongst the latest Android handsets in the Market. They used a custom Android app to perform the tests on 8 Phones including the Samsung Galaxy S phones and Dell Streak.

Nokia India has announced on Twitter that the Nokia N8 – 12 MP Camera phone is launching in India in mid-September. Some of our sources are saying that it will go on sale during Nokia World 2010 in some countries. Some are pointing to a Sep 23rd Release date for India. The expected price is around Rs.22000- 25000 ! Are you looking forward to the N8 ?

Our friends over at MobileFun have sent us this very interesting micro-portable speaker for portable devices. It is called the Sound M8 where M8 stands for a cool way to say “Mate”. We tried it out and here are our views on the device.
The folks at PocketNow have an interesting video about the browser on Windows Phone 7 . They managed to get their hands on a LG Fanthom Prototype device.
