Spice has launched the Stellar 509 (Mi-509), the company’s latest smartphone in the Stellar series exclusively on HomeShop18. It has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC M8 Ace press render surfaces, specifications detailed

HTC M8 Ace that showed up in a press image last week showing its curved back has surfaced again, this time showing its display on the front. The image that has been leaked by the same Chinese website looks similar to the phone that got certified on Tenaa recently. LG G3 Wireless Charging dock leaked ahead of release

Last week leaked presentation slides confirmed all the specifications of the much anticipated smartphone LG G3. The company also announced QuickCircle Cases for its upcoming flagship smartphone that is scheduled for a launch this week on May 27th. These folder-style case lets users check the time, place calls, send text messages, take photos, listen to music and more from the circular window, without opening the phone. More leaks related to accessories of the phone have surfaced online over the weekend.

Flipkart secures $210 million in funding from DST Global and others

Vineet Taneja joins Micromax as CEO from Samsung India

Micromax has announced that it has appointed Vineet Taneja as Chief Executive Officer. He previously served as country Head for IT & Mobile businesses of Samsung India before leaving the company few weeks back. He joined Samsung back in March 2013 and had previously served in Bharti Airtel, Nokia India (between January 2008 to April 2010) and Hindustan Lever. He will focus on consolidating Micromax’s strong presence in the market, driving global partnerships and strategic alliances while strengthening the organizational capabilities within Micromax, said the company.
