Lenovo today introduced Yoga 900, a convertible laptop and Yoga Home 900, an all-in-one PC has a 27-inch touchscreen and integrated battery. Both these run on the latest Windows 10 OS. The Lenovo Yoga 900 offers four usage modes (laptop, stand, tent, tablet), letting users work, watch or play in a variety of scenarios. It has watchband hinge made of more than 800 intricately woven, individual pieces, which provides a noticeably smoother rotation – allowing users to flip and fold their YOGA 900 easily into different modes, said the company. Asus has launched new mainstream budget laptop, A553 and performance notebooks – A555LF and A555LA in the A series. All these have 15.6-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) HD displays with Asus Splendid Technology and automatic colour adjustment, are powered by Intel processors and have 4GB of RAM. All these have SonicMaster offering optimized audio performance.

Apple introduced the iPad mini 4 along with the iPad Air Pro at its event in California last month. Now the tablet is available for purchase from online retailer Infibeam at the same price of last year’s iPad mini 3. The iPad mini 4 has the same 7.9 inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 resolution seen on last year’s iPad mini 3 with Retina Display, but this has Apple A8 chip with M8 motion co-processor. Vodafone already announced that it will launch 4G services in India by December 2015. It also said that Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi circles will get 4G first. Today the operator has announced that it will roll out 4G services in Delhi/NCR region by December 2015. “Key corridors of Delhi/NCR will be part of the first wave of the 4G roll-out, which will be launched across the circle in a phased manner”, said Vodafone. Panasonic has launched Toughpad FZ-Y1, the world’s first 20-inch tablet PC with 4K resolution display in India for enterprise customers. It was first showcased at the CES 2013 and has 5th generation Intel Core vPro processor, 8 GB RAM and multiple input ports. It is aimed at professionals in fields where visual clarity and collaboration are essential, said the company. However it didn’t have fast charging as wireless fast charging wasn’t supported until the introduction of the Note5 and S6 edge+ smartphones.
