Xiaomi just launched Mi Watch Revolve, the company’s latest smartwatch in India at its Smarter Living event. It comes in 46mm version with a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, has 112 different watch faces to choose from. It has a stainless steel frame, can track 10 sports activities, features FIRSTBEAT professional sports analysis and comes with GPS. When Epic Games started a legal fight with Apple over the latter’s app store policies and high fee on app-store purchases, Epic Games also filed a lawsuit against Google on similar grounds. While Apple is fighting back against the lawsuit aggressively, Google is looking to make changes in their policies to make themselves appear less anti-competitive, announcing that they will be making it easier for users to select an alternative app store on Android 12.

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced HONOR Watch GS Pro outdoor smartwatch with 14 MIL-STD-810G certifications and built-in GPS earlier this month. Today it has started rolling out the smartwatch in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain at €250 (US$ 291 / Rs. 21,480 approx.) /£250. It is MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters with an inbox protective cover and it is IP68 rated dustproof and water resistant. It supports up to three generations of Android OS upgrades and is protected by Samsung Knox, defence-grade security platform. The tablet comes with S Pen stylus which is also IP68 rated and has a holder on the top. Fitbit has begun shipping two of their newly announced fitness trackers, the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3. With them, Fitbit has also released their latest Fitbit OS 5.0, bringing major changes to the UI and navigation. The new update will only arrive for these two fitness trackers and not for the older devices.

After introducing Mi TV Lux 65″ model, Xiaomi today introduced new Mi TV Lux 82″ and also its first Mi TV Lux Pro 82″ 8K TVs in China. Both these have MEMC motion compensation technology and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The 8K model can decode capable of decoding up to 8K 60Hz source with new processor and also has 5G support via SIM card. This also comes with an in-box NFC remote control that allows users to cast video from their smartphones by touching it with their handset. Google Maps is supposedly testing a new UI change within the app, bringing a dedicated Car Mode interface that would replace the existing in-car navigation UI. The new UI incorporates elements from Android Auto’s current Google Maps app like its buttons and home screen.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A71 smartphone back in December 2019 and even introduced the Galaxy A71 5G earlier this year. Now rumours about its successor, the Galaxy A72 have surfaced in Korea. This reveals that the phone will feature five rear cameras for the first time. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy A52 next year, but this is said to come with quad rear cameras, similar to the predecessor. Jio has announced a partnership with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to launch In-Flight services to its JioPostpaid Plus customers, enabling mobile services like voice and data to those travelling abroad. These service will first begin on 22 international flights and will later be expanded to domestic flights.
