Samsung introduced the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphones last month. Now Amazon India has started teasing that the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will launch exclusively on Amazon soon. It packs a 6-inch Full HD+Infinity Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display, is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7885 14nm processor, runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), has 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front cameras, both with f/1.9 aperture. The Government of India has made it mandatory to link your mobile number with Aadhaar card for identification verification and has put a deadline of March 31, 2018 to do so. The page has several hints about the phone such as “On for a New Way To Shop?”, “On for a Superior Performance?” and “On for a Stunning New Look?” without revealing the name of the smartphone, but this reveals it will be an ‘On series’ smartphone, so it could be On5 or On7 2017 model.

Reliance Jio today announced signing of definitive agreement for the acquisition of specified assets of Reliance Communications (RCOM) and its affiliates that includes Wireless Spectrum, Tower, Fiber and Media Convergence Node (MCN) assets as a part of RCOM’s debt reduction.
