About 8 months after the Q1000 launch, Xolo is all set to launch the Q1010. The phone has been listed on Flipkart and has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI, but the MT6589 processor has been replaced by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Update 6th February 2: 15PM: 16GB variant of the Moto G sold out in less than one hour after it opened the orders again. But the 8GB version is still in stock. One of our readers (Akshay Mehta) said that Flipkart has sent him an email saying that the Moto G he ordered at noon wouldn’t be shipped until next Friday, February 14th.
Update 6th February 12:20 PM: Moto G is back on stock on Flipkart with all the launch day offers, as it promised. Flipkart says only limited stocks are available, so it might go out of stock soon.
Earlier: Motorola launched the most expected Moto G in India yesterday, in partnership with Flipkart starting at Rs. 12,499. Motorola announced that the Moto G would go on sale on Flipkart at 12 AM, February 6th. Flipkart started selling the 8GB version even before 12AM. When it opened the sales for the 16GB version, it sold out in less than an hour. It was out of stock even before people were about to checkout. Even the 8GB version sold out in a few hours.

HP India has just sent us the press invite for the launch of Slate 6 VoiceTab and Slate 7 VoiceTab phablets in India. These were announced last month specifically for India. The February 13th event in India would see the global launch of these phablets.The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab has a 6-inch HD IPS display sporting a 1280×720 pixels resolution and the HP Slate 7 VoiceTab will have a 7-inch HD 1280×800 pixels IPS display. These devices would be powered by a quad-core processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). These also have dual SIM support. Motorola and Flipkart partnered to launch the most expected Moto G in India earlier today starting at Rs. 12,499. The Moto G comes only with a back rear cover. You can buy the rear sells and Flip covers separately. Moto G accessories, including the Back Cover, Grip Shell and the Flip Cover has been priced on Flipkart. Motorola started selling Grip shells for Moto G in the US last month at $19.99.

Motorola has partnered with Flipkart to launch the Moto G, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India as it promised earlier this week. It was announced back in November 2013 and packs a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) edge-to-edge display at 329 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), upgradeable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) in a few weeks. Expected to be a timed exclusive, Flipkart is pulling all stops to sell out the most hotly anticipated Indian smartphone launch in the recent times, with bundled offers that might make sense for its own customers. Flipkart and Motorola are all set to announce the budget Moto G in India. Just hours before the official announcement, Flipkart has thrown light on the pricing details which was the most expected announcement. Motorola Moto G comes in two variants – 8GB and 16GB and the pricing of 8GB is Rs. 12,499 while the 16GB version costs Rs. 13,999. Motorola Moto G is exclusively available only on Flipkart on launch day and it will be gradually available to other sellers.
Hankering for a bit of color in your favorite Google edition device? The Nexus 5 in red is now available on the Play Store in the same 16 and 32GB capacities as the other variants. Amazon launched the first Paperwhite in India back in June 2013. The New Kindle Paperwhite that was launched in India last month is now on sale in India. LG showcased the LG G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved OLED display in India at an event back in December last year and promised that it would launch in February. Now the smartphone has been listed on the official LG India website at Rs. 69,999 (MRP).
