HTC One (M8) launched in India for Rs. 49900

HTC has launched the HTC One (M8) successor of last year’s HTC One (M7) in India. It was announced back in February and has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the new HTC Sense 6.0 UI. It has Duo camera setup with a primary UltraPixel camera (1/3″ BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, pixel size of 2.0 microns) and a secondary rear camera to capture depth information. Micromax started teasing their Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone last week. It just hinted at a larger-screen phone. Gadgets To Use has got hold of the images of the retail box that details the specifications of the smartphone. According to the leak the is expected to come with a 6-inch FWVA display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (P5200) has been listed on official Samsung India eStore at Rs. 36,340. It was announced back in June last year and packs a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a SIM slot and supports 3G connectivity. Samsung launched the 7-inch and 8-inch variants last year and introduced buyback offers for these tablets recently.

Spice Stellar Mettle Icon Mi-506 Unboxing

The Indian market is one of the fastest growing smartphone markets in the world, purely driven by the barrage of entry level Android smartphones. The market is so big that even Nokia wanted a slice of it, so it is not surprising to see the unending release schedules the companies resort to. One of them is the Indian manufacturer Spice, known for its low and mid range Android smartphones. In that line, we have here the Spice Stellar Mettle Icon for unboxing. This phone, priced at a low Rs. 6,999 in the market is one of the very few phablet sized devices in that price range. From the front, it unmistakeably looks like the HTC One, sans the loudspeakers. Nokia launched the Nokia X in India last month priced at Rs. Rs. 8599. It received a price cut recently and is available for as low as Rs. 7027. The Nokia X is the first smartphone from Nokia based on Android. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has gesture motion and voice controls to capture images using the voice command and the gesture feature lets users change tracks, switch between homescreens, tune FM channels and browse gallery.

Airtel launches Night Store for unlimited on-net local calling and internet all night

Airtel has launched Night Store, new night packs that would let pre-paid users enjoy unlimited on-net (Airtel to Airtel) voice calls and 2G data. It also offers limited 3G data with select packs in 3G circles and free Facebook access. These packs are applicable between 12AM to 6AM and is valid for one night. These packs are not applicable for customer who already has an active Unlimited 2G or 3G pack.
