Gameloft has partnered with MediaTek to announce that the upcoming Modern Combat sequel would be optimized for MediaTek’s MT6592 Octa-Core chip. This would be first game optimized for the new chip, which would include, enhanced graphics including, water distortion effects, reflections and shadowing. Since it is a fast moving action game, the MT6592 chip would offer continuous scrolling in high definition with attention to detail from soft particle display to enhanced depth of field to create a more immersive experience, says the company. Marvel Entertainment has released the Avengers initiative game for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 users finally. The game was launched for iOS devices back in September 2012 and for Android in November last year. This gesture based action game lets you play as either Captain America or the Hulk to round up a super-powered villains like Wendigo, Abomination, The Kronan, and The Skrulls who have escaped from The Vault. Even though the Windows Phone 8 game is just 763MB to download, it requires more than 1.6GB of storage space to install. Gameloft has partnered with Marvel have partnered once again to launch Thor : The Dark World, The Official Game to iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices, just in time for the launch of the new film, Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World. Gameloft and Marvel partnered for the Iron Man 3 game that was released back in April. Rovio, the creators of the popular Angry Birds franchise has published Juice Cubes, a new puzzle game for Android, iPhone and iPad under Rovio Stars. The game is developed by Thailand-based developer Pocket PlayLab. It features rows of colorful cubes that fans can connect to create massive combos and explosions, beat challenges and compete with their friends. Volkswagen Group (China) and Fishlabs Entertainment has released the Sports Car Challenge 2, successor of the Sports Car Challenge game that was released back in November 2011. The first game got a major update earlier this year that brought a new race track and gameplay features, its sequel has 14 exclusive super sports cars ranging from Audi, Bentley and Bugatti to Lamborghini, Porsche and Volkswagen, additional gameplay features, completely overhauled 3D graphics and all-new visual effects. EA Mobile has updated the Real Racing 3 game for Android and iOS platforms to version 1.4.0 that brings the most requested cars from iconic Italian manufacturer, Ferrari. This update also bring new tracks including Spain’s famous Circuit de Catalunya, new Challenges and more. Real Racing 3 was launched for both these platforms back in February earlier this year. Rovio has announced their their new game Angry Birds Go! in the Angry Birds franchise would be released on December 11th. As the company already announced, it is a downhill kart racing game on a 3D Piggy Island. It would come with upgradable karts, tons of characters with unique special powers and a fully rendered 3D world. It has also released a gameplay trailer for the Angry Birds Go! Check it out below.
