After launching on iOS and Andorid, Uber has parked its car at the Windows Phone Store. The popular on demand car service has officially announced the release of Windows Phone. Prior to this, Uber users had to access the service via its mobile site. The Uber Windows Phone app is mostly similar to its iOS and Android counterpart barring few Microsoft Metro UI redesign.
Microsoft devices has just announced the Lumia 530 the company’s latest budget smartphones. It has a 4-inch FWVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1. It has a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera, but lacks a front-facing camera. Disney India along with Salman Khan have launched a mobile game as a promotional measure for its upcoming movie ‘Kick’. Available on Android the game includes a player that takes on the role of ‘Devil’ Salman Khan’s movie character. The iOS, Windows Phone and feature phone version of the game is also in the making and will release along with the movie.

Nokia is reportedly working on three Windows Phone 8.1 phones that are due for launch later this year. The three devices are – a high end device with 3D sensors – codename McLaren, mid-range 4.7inch display laden device – codename Superman and a low end device with codename Rock. If rumors from China are to be believed, Nokia is also prepping a successor to the long forgotten Lumia 820 in the form of Lumia 830.
