Google Camera app on the Pixel smartphones has gained accolades from users as well as critics for its performance. The app which uses a high-end software to process photos, especially scores when it comes to high dynamic range photos thanks to its HDR+ mode. Now, an Ukrainian app developer who goes by name B-S-G, has found a way to transfer that software to any device powered by Snapdragon 820,821 or 835 processor. Moto Z Play Android 7.1.1 Nougat update starts rolling out in India

Lenovo-owned Moto back in June started its first Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test in India. After finishing three soak tests, the company has started rolling out stable Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) update in the country recently, few months after it roll out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update. Android Nougat adoption hits 13.5%, up 2% since last month

Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of August. Android Nougat adoption has increased to 13.5%, up 2% over last month. Nougat 7.0 was up 1.7% to 12.3% while, Nougat 7.1 increased to 1.2% from .9%. It is possible that before next month’s distribution, we will already see the arrival of Android O. SHARP today announced AQUOS S2, its latest smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. 5.5-inch (1080 x 2040 pixels) Full HD+ display with 84.95% screen-to-body ratio. It uses FFD (Free Form Display) technology to make small holes precisely in the screen for front camera and receiver. The fingerprint sensor that is present below the screen is just 3.6mm, making it the world’s narrowest fingerprint identification module. RED HYDROGEN ONE hands-on shows solid design, support for snap-on camera mods

RED announced the HYDROGEN ONE Android smartphone with holographic display last month. The company did not show how it would look like. Now popular Youtuber Marques Brownlee has teased prototype of the phone on his channel to show how the phone will look like. He said he saw three different prototypes – a non-working unit with the final design and dimensions, one that shows the holographic display in action, and a third is a separate camera module with its own lens and sensor.
