Evernote has updated their Hello app for iPhone to version 2.1 that brings lot of new features including a Passcode lock for premium users, Flash control that would let you scann glossy cards easier and lots more new features. Evernote introduced option to scan business cards, a premium feature in the previous version of Hello app with 2 months of free usage as a promotion. PhotoCal with Event, is a new application for iPhone and iPad that arrange and view your photos more efficiently, while keeping you up to date on your events. It lets you arrange your images in chronological order and displays them on your monthly calendar view along with all of your upcoming appointments and errands. Gameloft has released a trailer for their upcoming Iron Man 3 game for iPhone, iPad and Android. The Iron Man 2 game for iPhone and iPad was released back in 2010. Iron Man 3, the third movie in the Iron Man franchise, based on the Mavel’s comic book character is releasing in several countries including India on April 26th. In this game you play as the billionaire Tony Stark / Iron Man who fights the AIM around the world to prevent their dark schemes from succeeding.

If you are a Speedtest.net addict like me, and if you happen to have an iOS device, the internet speed testing app for iOS got a huge update including a all new UI and support for iPhone 5. In the above screenshot you can see the new app UI which shows how the iPhone 5 is clocking crazy fast speeds over Vodafone’s 3G network here in Chennai. You can even share the speedtest result from within the app to Twitter, Facebook, email and SMS.
There is even an option to remove ads if you pay $1 or Rs.55. Much needed update for this app which is very useful when testing network speeds. If you already have the app installed on your iPhone, you must have the update notification within the app store.
Just a month after the iOS 6.1.2, Apple has now rolled out iOS 6.1.3 in order to fix a vulnerability. The vulnerability in question is the lock screen bypass that was hacked through a simple combination of fake emergency calls and key presses. With iOS 6.1.3, Apple have fixed this exact vulnerability and it is now available for download. The size of the download is around 18MB as seen above, which is a really small update by Apple’s standards.
