Gameloft released the Asphalt 8: Airborne, the new game in the Asphalt series for iPhone and iPad earlier today. The game is now available for download for Android devices. The new game offers even more challenges, more cars, all new maps and the most life-like graphics ever with the new physics engine that would give you a realistic feel when you pull death-defying stunts, destroy objects in your path, and catch major air off ramps. Intex was the first company to launch an affordable Android smartphone, the Cloud X3 running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). We have the device for unboxing and review. It is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6572 chip with Mali-400 MP GPU that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth. Both the Cloud X1 and the Cloud X2 had a single-core processor. Sadly the Cloud X3 doesn’t have 3G support, but for the affordable price tag of Rs. 3790, it is acceptable. Intex has also launched the the Cloud X4 recently, which has a 3.2MP rear camera and 3G support.

SwiftKey 4.2 for Android with SwiftKey Cloud released

SwiftKey 4.2 is now available for Android phones and tablets from the Google Play Store . The SwiftKey 4 Beta was launched in July and it was updated last week  with fixes and improvements. SwiftKey Cloud offers backup and sync that back up the words and phrases so that you can sync it when you move to a new device. The trending phrases feature analyses treding topics online and Twitter to automatically auto complete it as you type. SwiftKey 4.2 would be available as a free update to all the existing users and the company is running launch offer that lets you get the keyboard at 50% off. Asphalt 7 for Android updated with new Cars and Play Games integration

Gameloft is on a roll these days. Last week, they announced that Asphalt 8 will be hitting the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on August 22nd and today they have announced their partnership with Microsoft to bring 15 Gameloft games to Windows platform. Asphalt 8 is easily one of the most anticipated mobile racing games. Asphalt 7, still one of the top paid games, has just got an update from Gameloft.

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Golden (SHV-E400) with dual 3.7 inch (800 x 480 pixels) Super AMOLED displays. Since there is a display on the front of the smartphone, you can also used it when it’s closed. You can flip open to use the other screen with a keyboard. Samsung aims to target the mid-aged or older demographic segments with this phone. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel camera.  It also comes with S health, business card recognition, easy mode and more features. Oppo N1 to launch in September, rumoured specs leak out

Just hours after we posted our first impressions of the newly launched Oppo R819, another leak has graced us with some exciting information. We’d already seen Oppo acknowledge the existence of their new range of flagship camera-centric devices dubbed the N-lens and that the first device will be named N1(of which we saw some leaked renders). And now we’ve got a leaked image from a Weibo user which says that the device will be launching late September this year. Rumoured to have a 13 megapixel sensor with a professional-grade Fujitsu camera ISP, the N1 will be Oppo’s first real cameraphone flagship.

Videocon Mobiles has launched the A42, a new smartphone in the A Series. The company launched the A24, an affordable Android smartphone last month. It has a 4.5-inch (854 ×480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch sceen display, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).  It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo R819 Hands on First Impressions

Only yesterday we saw Oppo reveal its latest smartphone, the curiously named R819. After a critical success of the Oppo Find 5, which we think is one of the best Android hardware available on the market, the company has sought to reach lower price points with a smaller and a more mid-range device. We see the R819 as Oppo’s effort to claim volume as encouraging market results have cropped up at home. And surprise!
