In March last year Vodafone India and Idea Cellular announced merger of both the companies, which was expected to close last year. Earlier this week the companies said that the management team of the combined business would be confirmed prior to closing, which is now expected to complete in the first half of the current calendar year. Now it has launched VoLTE in Maharashtra and Goa, and Jaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, which will soon expand in other cities of the state soon. Vodafone launched 4G services in Gujarat back in September 2016. Today it has announced that it has expanded the 4G services across 2500+ towns covering 33 districts of Gujarat.
