Reliance Jio rolling out JioFiber preview in Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad and more cities

Last year Reliance Jio started testing JioFiber. When it reported earnings last month, it said that it started roll-out of its Fibre to the Home (FTTH) business by offering beta trials in a few locations. It also said that it will expand the scope of the beta trials over the next few months. There were some reports recently that said Jio has started JioFiber trials in Chennai, Mumbai and other cities. Reliance Jio reports Rs. 22.5 crore net loss for H2 FY17

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and its subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) today reported its financial performance for the quarter / year ended 31st March, 2017. Reliance Jio posted a net loss of Rs 22.50 crore for the six months period of October, 2016 till March 2017, up from Rs. 7.46 crore in the previous financial year. Airtel extends 30GB free data offer for postpaid customers

Airtel Digital TV today launched Internet TV, which is an Android TV box that is developed by LG that also offers 500 satellite TV channels. Airtel says that this is the first India’s first Hybrid DTH Set-top box. It comes pre-loaded with Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Music, Google Play Games, Airtel Movies and more apps. Since there is Google Play, you can install more apps and games. It is also compatible with Dolby Surround Sound Audio. Airtel 4G now available in 61 towns across Jammu & Kashmir

Airtel launched 4G LTE services in Jammu & Kashmir across 25 towns/locations across the Jammu region earlier this month. Today it has announced that Airtel 4G is now available in 61 towns across Jammu & Kashmir (22 towns in Kashmir and 39 towns in Jammu). Airtel 4G has been rolled out in Jammu & Kashmir using FD LTE technology in the 1800 MHz band. It already said that it plans to expand its 4G footprint to over 100 towns across the state.
