The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) in an order today has asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to re-examine issues relating to the approval granted to the operator to continue with the freebies and apprise it of the “outcome and findings of the examination” within two weeks.

Airtel has launched 4G LTE services in Jammu & Kashmir, which is available across 25 towns/locations across the Jammu region. It plans to expand its 4G footprint to over 100 towns across Jammu & Kashmir. With this, Airtel 4G services are now available in all 22 telecom circles of the country. Airtel 4G will be offered using 1800 MHz band and is available through mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles in these towns. Google and Reliance Jio are teaming up to launch an affordable 4G phone, according to a latest report from Hindu Business Line. The phone will work exclusively on the Reliance Jio’s 4G network and is expected to be launched by the end of this year.
