ASUS has launched Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro smartphones in India. The Zenfone 4 Selfie comes in a single front camera version, in addition to dual front-facing camera version. All the phones have unibody designs, fingerprint sensor on the front and run Android Nougat. The company already promised to offer Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for its Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 series. Lenovo has launched Tab 4 series of tablets that includes Tab 4 8, Tab 4 8 Plus, Tab 4 10, Tab 4 10 Plus in India. These were introduced at the MWC 2017 earlier this year, are powered by Snapdragon SoCs, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and come with 4G LTE support. Spice brand, a joint venture between Transsion Holdings came back in July with several features phone and smartphones. Today Spice Devices has launched Spice V801, a new smartphone in the country. It has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has an 8-megapixel front and rear cameras with LED flash. It looks like Google is the latest entrant to foray into the buzzing digital mobile payment scene in India. The is looking forward to launch a localized mobile payment service in the country. According to a latest report by The Ken, Google is all set to launch a Unified Payments Interface (UPI)-based digital payment service called “Tez” as early as next week.

InFocus today launched two new smartphones – Turbo 5 Plus and Snap 4 in India. The Turbo 5 Plus is a bigger version of the Turbo 5 that has 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras and a larger 5.5-inch display. The Snap 4, as the name indicates comes with four cameras, 8-megapixel dual rear cameras on the front and a 13-megapixel rear camera with 80-degree wide angle lens and a 8-megapixel secondary camera with 120-degree wide angle lens. Xiaomi India has posted a new teaser for the launch of a new product in India with an exciting partnership. It says Hop, Run, Flex that are fitness activities. Apple unveiled the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus smartphones few hours back. Apple India already said that the new iPhone 8 series will be available in several countries, including India in the second batch starting from September 29th. Now Redington India has announced that the phones will be available for pre-order across 3000 retail outlets in the country, beginning September 22nd, Friday. Huawei unveiled the Watch 2 series that includes Huawei Watch 2, Watch 2 Classic and Watch 2 4G at at MWC 2017 earlier this year. Today the company has launched it in India. The Watch 2 features a sportier’ look with rubber bands and there is also a 4G version of it that comes with cellular connectivity that allows users to make and receive phone calls using SIM card.

Apple confirmed that the iPhone 8 will start at Rs. 64,000 in India and will be available starting from September 29th and the iPhone X will be available from November 3 starting at Rs. 89000.
