Mobiistar XQ Dual with 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual front cameras with flash launched in India for Rs. 7999

Vietnam-based Mobiistar has forayed into the Indian market with the XQ Dual, a selfie-focused smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 7.1 (Nougat). The main highlight of the smartphone is its 13-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel secondary front camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies and face beatuty. There is also an LED flash on the front to capture selfies even in low lighting conditions. Comio has launched X1 Note, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘X series’ in India. It has a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM, runs Android 8.0 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture depth information for portrait shots. Micromax Bharat GO Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone launched for Rs. 4399

Micromax just launched Bharat GO, the company’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in India, in partnership with Airtel. It was supposed to launch earlier this year. It has similar specifications as the Bharat 3 that was launched recently, as well as most other Go Edition phones such as Nokia 1 and Lava Z50 that were launched earlier this year. Huawei’s Honor brand just launched the Honor 7A and Honor 7C , the company’s latest budget smartphones in the ‘7 series’ in India, as it had promised. Both the phones have a 5.7-inch and 5.99-inch 18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass displays, respectively, come with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera to capture depth information in portrait shots. Samsung along with the new J series smartphones, also introduced its Galaxy A6 smartphones that were introduced earlier this month.  Both the phones come with Super AMOLED Infinity displays with 18.5:9 screen ratio, but the A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ screen while the A6+ features a 6-inch FHD+ screen. Samsung just launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘J Series’ in India, as expected. The J6 and J8 have  5.6-inch and 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass displays. The J6 is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm SoC, while the J8 comes with Snapdragon 450 with up to 4GB of RAM. Moto G6 with 5.7-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras and Moto G6 Play with 4000mAh battery launching in India on June 4

Update: Motorola India has just sent out invites for the launch of G6 and G6 Play on June 6th. It also confirmed that the G6 will be launched exclusively on Amazon India and the G6 Play will be available exclusively on Flipkart online. Both these will also be available through Moto Hub Stores.

Flipkart has confirmed that Honor 7A will also launch in India alongside the Honor 7C next Tuesday. It was introduced in China last month at 799 yuan (US$ 126 / Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version with single rear camera and 999 yuan (US$ 158 / Rs. 10,315 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB version with dual rear cameras. Samsung Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+ with Infinity display pricing surface ahead of India launch on May 21

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch Galaxy J6 smartphone in the ‘J series’ in India on May 21st. India will be one of the first countries to get the smartphone, and the company has confirmed that it will feature an Infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will also launch the  Galaxy A6+ (SM-A605F) alongside, which was introduced earlier this month.
